navigable lagoon on the entire Great Barrier Reef
- and what a lagoon - around 1200 hectares!
Visitors are fascinated by the island’s fauna, flora
and overall tranquil ambience. For dedicated
“Robinson Crusoes” there’s the option of
camping on this uninhabited jewel with transfers
from Port Bundaberg and the Town of 1770. A
permit must be obtained for camping.

with beautifully coloured fish.
